Make-A-Wish x Fortina
Fortina teams up with the Hudson Valley and Connecticut Make-A-Wish Chapters to support the foundation and provide memorable experiences to children from the organization.
We began our charitable partnership with Make-A-Wish in August 2022 and invited children from the organization to visit the restaurant and create their own signature pizzas.
Their creations have been imaginative and flavorful, including a take on a classic pineapple and ham Hawaiian style pie, a meat-lovers pie with sausage, pepperoni and meatballs, and even a pizza featuring french fries as a topping. We are featuring one of the children’s pies on the menu each month, with net proceeds from those sales benefiting the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Through this partnership, we will be able to consistently donate to Make-A-Wish, supporting the organization in their mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
The Make-A-Wish Mission: A wish experience can be a game-changer for a child with a critical illness. This one belief guides Make-A-Wish in everything they do. It inspires them to grant life-changing wishes for children going through so much. It compels them to be creative in exceeding the expectations of every wish kid. It drives them to make donated resources go as far as possible. Most of all, it’s the founding principle of their vision to grant the wish of every eligible child.
